Our hours of operation will vary depending on the nature of events we’re hosting. Generally, our shows will be every Thursday, Friday and Saturday evening. The doors (and bars) for the Banquet Room and Courtyard Bar will open at 5:00pm on weekdays and at 3:00pm on weekends. Last call will be at 1:00am. The Music Hall doors will open 1 hour prior to the scheduled event.
For private parties and events the venue will be open at the requested time of our clients. However, please note that according to Missouri State law the establishment must be cleared of people and closed no later than 1:30am.

We are always on the lookout for high quality bands touring the region and we offer a great old world atmosphere with every modern amenity you can imagine.
We feature many kinds of bands, stage productions, stand-up comedians and other stage performing acts. We book talent for private functions, such as weddings, corporate parties and fundraisers as well, so we almost always have a date to fill. That being said, please follow the contact guidelines above. We will get in touch with you when we feel there is a good fit for your band and discuss a date that suits everyone.
Q: Your show is sold out. Is there any other way to get tickets?
A: No. However, we broadcast all our shows live on the BIG screen in the Banquet Hall Bar downstairs and for a small cover you can hang out there all night. If you sign up for our email list here, you will get plenty of advance notice on bands that are playing. This will enhance your chance of getting tickets before the shows sell out!
Q: Can I reserve tickets?
A: You can purchase tickets in advance but we do not "hold" tickets.
Q: Can I pay with a credit card?
A: Absolutely! As a matter of fact we encourage it. The Lucas School House accepts American Express, Visa and MasterCard. Personal checks (local only and not on the day of the show) and cash are accepted at the Box Office in advance. You can purchase tickets with a credit card online here or by phone at 314-621-6565.
Q: Is the show all ages?
A: No. We are also an adult drinking establishment and unless otherwise specified all of our shows are age 21+. Sorry, no exception!
Q: What time does the show start?
A: Please check your tickets or our website for show times. Doors to the Music Hall open one hour prior to showtime. Come early and enjoy the comfortable surroundings of The Courtyard or Banquet Room. On event days The Courtyard and Banquet Hall open at 5pm weekdays and 3pm on weekends.
Q: Do you have seats?
A: Most shows are standing room. But some shows do offer limited seats and/or tables and chairs. Your reservation specialist will be able to tell you if your show offers this option. Seating is always available in the Banquet Room lounge.
Q: Where can I park?
A: Please refer to this map to see where Lucas School House controls parking. You may also park on the street where permitted and most evenings we will have Valet Parking available for a fee. Lucas management encourages our guests to utilize street parking to the west of our complex.
Q: Is smoking allowed?
A: No. Lucas School House Music House is a rare venue that does not allow smoking inside. However, we have a big courtyard outside where you can smoke as much as you want. We’ll even supply some heaters in the winter.
Q: Do you serve alcohol?
A: Yes. We have full bars on each level of the venue that offer a wide variety of quality beer, spirits and wines for your enjoyment along with a friendly staff to serve your beverage of choice in a timely manner.
Q: I bought tickets online but now I can't come to the show, can I get a refund?
A: All sales are final and we do not offer refunds for any reason.
Q: Can I put a ticket in another person’s name?
A: Yes, but it has to be done in advance. Call 314-621-6565 or email info@lucasevents.com.
Q: My band is great and we're coming to the area, can we get a gig at The Lucas School House?

From Highway 40: Take 11th St. exit. At bottom of ramp turn left onto Spruce. Proceed 1 block to Tucker. Turn left and proceed 1 mile (Tucker changes name to Gravois at the HWY 55 overpass) to 1220 Allen Avenue at the intersection of Allen Ave. and Gravois Ave. Turn left. The Lucas School House is a two-story brick building next to the church on Allen. Valet parking attendants will await your arrival.
From Highway 44: Exit Lafayette Ave. Go east 3 blocks to Tucker. Turn right onto Tucker and proceed South 3 blocks (Tucker changes name to Gravois at the Hwy 55 overpass) to 1220 Allen Avenue at the intersection of Allen Ave. and Gravois Ave. Turn left. The Lucas School House is a two-story brick building next to the church on Allen. Valet parking attendants will await your arrival.
From Downtown: Go south on Tucker to just past the HWY 55 overpass (Tucker changes name to Gravois at the HWY 55 overpass) to 1220 Allen Avenue at the intersection of Allen Ave. and Gravois Ave. Turn left.
